Hawaii Ocean Project Reviews Around the Web

We went on the dinner and dancing cruise with Hawaii Ocean Project. You sit with another random couple on a picnic table with backs. We had the prime rib and Mahi Mahi, the fish was good but the supposed medium rare prime rib was obviously well done and dry. The sides of potatoes and carrots were also cold. As for the cruising aspect we went a little down the coast of Lahaina and then around a cruise ship that was in harbor, which wasn’t what I expected. Also there was absolutely no where to dance which was stated in the description. This is not a one star review because the staff was friendly and the music was great. However don’t waste your money on this dinner cruise, for the over $100 per a person you can get a much better meal and view at many other restaurants on Maui.

My husband, father in law and I went on a dinner sunset cruise on the Maui Princess and it was fantastic. We had gone on another sunset cruise the night before for the 4th of July with another company called Quicksilver that was a total mess. The crew was unprofessional and the whole thing was very unorganized, but our dinner cruise with Hawaii Ocean Project was amazing. The crew was professional and attentive, the music was great, and the food was awesome and you get a big serving. I would highly recommend the sunset dinner cruise with Hawaii Ocean Project to anyone considering it!!

We cruised with Jo, Jo jr., Sarah, and Donny. The crew were super friendly, and made an amazing memory for us. We had a chance to sweem(snorkel) with some of the most beautiful fish and turtles, you can only find in Hawaii. We enjoyed watching Dolphins all atound our boat. You should try it, for sure.

My wife and I honeymooned in Hawaii. This was our mutual #1 excursion. By comparison, we did horseback riding, helicopter rides, a luau, botanic gardens, hula class, massages, and many other activities. It was exceptional, both in terms of quality and price for the quality.

We were able to snorkel in two reefs, and get closeups of many sea turtles. We followed along spinner dolphins, and were visited by mother whale and baby. The baby whale was having fun and jumped out of the water over and over right next to us. We also received breakfast and lunch.

Captain Jill, Sarah, and Zack absolutely knew how to treat us right.

👍💪💥I highly recommend the Lanai Snorkelling Tour.
A huge Canadian thank you to Captain Troy and his great crew. My family went out to Lanai on the snorkelling tour today and we couldn't be happier with the experience. We saw whales, dolphins and went to two beautiful snorkelling sites. Troy even turned around the boat on the way home which took us way past what we thought was the ending time
of the tour, to follow a family of whales. This company really knows how to "treat" guests. Thank you also to Theresa at the little info kiosk beside the Banyon tree, you were very helpful answering all my questions before purchasing the tour. It was very good value for sure!
    Thank you a lot!
