  Krank Cycles is an absolutely amazing bike shop. We have visited Maui a few times and every time we have visited the shop the staff have been so welcoming and helpful, Moose and Double A were rockstars! This trip we decided to rent 2 Specialized Turbo Evo E-Bikes which were amazing. As soon as we arrived Double A had everything ready for us, provided us with helmets and then gave us the run down on the route to the trails, the best trails to ride and how the bike worked. We rode from the shop up to Makawao Forest, shredded Pineapple Express 3 times then rode back. Took us about 4 hours in total and the bikes still had battery left. Pineapple Express is the best trail I have ever ridden, super flowy with awesome jumps and everything is rollable so it’s great for any level of rider. We had an absolute blast. Thanks Krank!!

  We came to Maui on a business/vacation trip and had a day to kill so we rented e-mountain bikes from Moose and crew at Krank Cycles. They pointed us to the Makawao Forest trail system not far from the shop that had a variety of trails to choose from. They were very accommodating to our riding style and short notice. I suggest if you find yourself on Maui and looking for something to do out of the normal, look this crew up and see how the can put you in touch with nature up close and personal. The shop was really cool also tucked away in a little town with a lot to offer. We hope to make it back to the Island one day and we will definitely hook up with Krank Cycles!!

  I’ve rented from Krank on two different occasions about 8 years apart.
  
  Both occasions I rode the skyline trail starting at the summit of Haleakala.
  
  It you are into mountain biking, add this to your bucket list, and make sure you get you gear from Krank.
  
  They also have a great selection of unique hats.
  
  The crew was also very helpful with selecting the correct rack for our rental vehicle and setting it up to fit right.
  
  I will definitely be visiting these guys again. Thanks Krank.

  I debated for months whether I should ship my bike from Oregon to Maui to ride Haleakala. I decided to rent a bike from Krank Cycles….. and boy am I glad I did. I highly recommend Krank Cycles. The whole experience, from the initial rental on line, to the pick up and return was exceptional. Moose and crew are beyond compare. I was able to rent a 2024 Specialized Tarmac. The bike was in excellent condition and got me to the top of Haleakala and back to Paia. If you are debating to ship or rent….. I say rent a bike from Krank. You will be glad you did.

  Best selection of bikes on Maui. We've hit up Moose and the crew at Krank cycles over and again whether it was to rent premium Mountain Bikes for a downhill day or a new GT performer for my nephew. Highly recommend if you're in upcountry, Kahului or now Lahaina.,
