Peter M · December 06, 2024Idyllic and serene. Come early in the morning to avoid the crowds and enjoy the best of what Maui has to offer. If you do get here early enough, you can park on the road in several locations and avoid paying the parking costs in the official lot.

The moment you set foot on the soft, white sands, you're immediately struck by the pristine, untouched beauty of this natural paradise. The waters at Makena Beach are simply incredible. Crystal clear and a stunning shade of turquoise, they invite you in for a swim that’s both refreshing and invigorating. On a sunny day, the water sparkles like a thousand diamonds, making it almost impossible to resist.

brandon dengler · October 20, 2024Favorite beach on Maui! Strong undertow and shore break, so not for everyone but lifeguards on site. A lot of parking, but it fills up and there's always street parking near the food trucks
