  What an incredible way to tackle the Road to Hana! Paula was an AWESOME hostess/driver—and that’s being modest. She was so knowledgeable about the history of Hawaii and really made sure we all enjoyed the long journey together. Please note that this drive is NOT EASY. So for her to keep us safe and to be as confident on the road as she was—it was truly impressive. I would recommend this excursion to anyone looking to eat great food, see beautiful places and for those who want to make the most of Maui without getting caught up in tourist traps. Doing the Road to Hana on your own is very stressful and you will have no idea what you’re looking at around you. With this excursion—you are able to learn and see Maui in a stress free environment with a guide to explain everything along the way. TIP-if you have motion sickness or if you don’t have motion sickness please take Dramamine or something similar before the ride. There are so many twists and turns that even the strongest stomachs have a difficult time keeping it together! Thank you so much Paula and Valley Isle for giving our family such a special experience.   We had the BEST time with the BEST guide! Wow… Travis was amazing! So much rich history and knowledge. We had to make it back in time for a dinner , but didn’t feel like we missed out on anything. Banana bread is amazing… waterfalls were breath taking, enjoyed a stop to swim under waterfall… so beautiful . All in all 15/10. Would highly recommend!

  Paula was a terrific driver and her stories were priceless. She kept our interest peaked the entire trip. I got the sense she truly loves Maui. We highly recommend Valley Isle Excursions if you visit Maui. The Road to Hana is a true day trip so be prepared for a long day. Paula navigated the hair pin turns and winding highway like a professional. I bet she would love our North Carolina mountains!

  Really great tour of Road to Hana! Great breakfast at former sugar plantation. Beautiful drive to Hana. Our driver Yvonne was great. Very entertaining and knowledgeable. Great group on the bus. Stopped at beautiful places and saw lots of waterfalls. Also went on black sand beach and then later saw sea turtles. Also git to stop at Hana Gold chocolate factory. Yvonne was also a great driver on that winding road. Got to swim under a waterfall!

  I would like to take the time to thank your whole company for the wonderful time yesterday. Yvonne was great. The road to Hana is everything the guidebook says that it is. Thanks again for helping to make the day go smooth for those of us uninitiated to the area. Would highly recommend your company to anyone that asks.
